Hypnotherapy
-
Hypnotherapy is a gentle, collaborative approach that combines therapeutic conversation with focused relaxation to help you explore thoughts, emotions and patterns that may sit beyond your everyday awareness.
Many of the ways we think, feel and respond to life are shaped by past experiences, beliefs and habits that have developed over time. Often, these patterns once served a purpose, but they may no longer support the life you want to live today.
Hypnotherapy creates the opportunity to slow down, quiet the noise of everyday life and explore those deeper patterns with curiosity and compassion.
It isn't about losing control or being made to do anything against your will. You remain aware throughout the process and are always in control. Instead, it offers a calm and focused space where meaningful insight, reflection and change can naturally unfold.

No.
One of the biggest misconceptions about hypnotherapy is that you'll be asleep, unconscious or under someone else's control. In reality, hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention and relaxation that most of us experience every day—whether we're completely absorbed in a book, driving a familiar route or lost in thought.
Throughout a hypnotherapy session, you remain aware of what's happening and are free to stop, ask questions or bring yourself out of hypnosis at any time. My role is simply to guide the process; you remain in control throughout.

People choose to explore hypnotherapy for many different reasons, including:
• Anxiety and overwhelm
• Confidence and self-esteem
• Stress and burnout
• Grief and loss
• Life transitions
• Feeling stuck
• Habits and unwanted behaviours
• Self-limiting beliefs
• Emotional wellbeing
• Personal growth

Most people describe hypnosis as feeling deeply relaxed while remaining aware of their surroundings. Some notice their thoughts slow down, while others simply feel calm and focused. There is no "right" way to experience hypnosis—everyone experiences it differently.
My approach
For me, therapy isn't about offering quick solutions.
It's about creating a space where you can slow down, listen to yourself more deeply and understand the patterns that have shaped your experiences. From that understanding, meaningful change becomes possible.
Every session is collaborative and tailored to you. Some sessions may involve conversation, others guided relaxation and hypnosis, and often a combination of both. We move at a pace that feels safe, respectful and supportive of your individual journey.
